Our workforce is a bridge to our marketplace as we become a more consumer-based business, providing insurance to the uninsured while retaining our current members. Employee groups play an important role in achieving our diversity and inclusion goals.

Business Resource Groups
We realigned our Business Resource Groups (BRGs) to help meet our diversity and inclusion goals by cultivating a diverse and inclusive culture, enhancing community outreach efforts, strengthening our talent pipeline and helping us reach new consumer markets. This resulted in a 24 percent growth in BRG memberships in 2014, further advancing diversity and inclusion across the organization.


African Americans in Motion empowers members to develop skills and leadership capabilities to support business efforts and community involvement.

Asian American Business Resource Group promotes community wellness and fosters a diverse workforce environment. It highlights the talents of Asian American employees and business associates and strengthens our brand in the marketplace.

In-Abled champions inclusion for people with disabilities by increasing awareness and providing educational and professional development opportunities for employees. In-Abled also addresses the needs and concerns of employees who are caregivers.
