Seasons of Life
Our Seasons of Life program ensures that members and their families receive compassionate help with financial and health-related matters when they are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Services are provided by a dedicated team of experienced customer advocates, trained in sensitivity by a licensed clinical social worker.
During this difficult time, customer advocates are available to help resolve financial health care issues and assist the member’s family or designated representative with filing claims and navigating the health care system.
How Seasons of Life Works After a Loss
- We locate a surviving family member, or a designated friend or neighbor, who can act on behalf of the deceased. This person need not be a member of one of our plans.
- A dedicated customer advocate sends a sympathy card offering to help. This advocate will be the single point of contact, reaching out to providers if needed, making sure all claims are filed, anticipating needs and offering solutions. He or she will take the bereaved out of the middle during this time of need.
Compassionate care after a loss is just one of the services offered through Seasons of Life. We have been there for our members with outreach after natural disasters, explosions, fires and more of life’s unfortunate surprises.
